  • 地域の日本人間の交流･ 地域へ移転してきた日本人への情報提供
  • 地域の日本人学生への支援･ 地域の身寄りのない日本人高齢者への支援
  • 日米文化の理解を深めるためのプログラム
  • 日米文化交流を促進するためのプログラム
  • 在ニューヨーク総領事館の領事を招いた地域での領事館サービス･ 邦人保護サービス

 

The Japanese Association of Greater Philadelphia (JAGP) is a non-profit organization established in 1964 to serve the Japanese community in the Philadelphia area. Its objectives include:

Activities:

  • Facilitating connections among Japanese residents in the region.
  • Providing information to Japanese individuals and families who have recently relocated to the area.
  • Supporting Japanese students in the community.
  • Assisting elderly Japanese residents in the region who lack local family support.
  • Organizing programs to deepen understanding of Japanese and American cultures.
  • Promoting cultural exchange between Japan and the United States.
  • Hosting consular services in the region by inviting consular officials from the Consulate General of Japan in New York.
  • Providing services to protect the well-being of Japanese nationals.

 

今年も秋祭りに出展します！We will be back at the Aki Matsuri!

フィラデルフィア日米協会（JASGP）主催の「秋祭り Fall Festival」が、9月12日（土）に開催されます。当会ブースでは、紙相撲やコイン落としゲームを企画しております。協賛の日清食品アメリカ株式会社様、およびMeiji America Inc.様よりカップラーメンやチョコレート菓子のご寄付をいただきました。ゲームに参加いただいた方に先着順に景品として進呈します。なお、秋祭り会場への入場料は大人$10、12歳以下のお子様は無料となっています。

日本文化と秋の収穫を祝う楽しいイベントです。皆様お誘い合わせの上、ぜひご来場ください。

We’re excited to announce that we’ll have a booth at the Aki Matsuri (Fall Festival) hosted by the Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia (JASGP)!

At our booth, we’ll be featuring Kami-zumo (paper sumo) and a coin drop game. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, Nissin Foods USA and Meiji America Inc., we’ve received donations of cup ramen and chocolate snacks, which will be given out as prizes to game participants on a first-come, first-served basis.

Admission to the festival is $10 for adults; children 12 and under enter free.

Time: 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Location: Schauffele Plaza, Ardmore, PA (near Maido!)
