会員の皆様、
「新」和の交流会・夏の食事会は、予定通り７月３１日にArdmore のミカドレストランにて開かれました。１６人の方々が出席くださいました。シニアメンバーのみならず、若い方々や新メンバーの方々が出席され、日本語のみならず英語をまじえて、おいしい日本食とタイ料理などを食べながら、和気あいあいに大いに会話が弾みました。ご夫婦でおいでになった方々もおりました。これを機会にまた出席したい、とのうれしいお礼状が、コミッティメンバーのベル俊子あてに数枚届きました。

Dear Members,
The Shin-Wanokoryu summer luncheon was held on July 31 at the Mikado restaurant in Ardmore, PA. 16 people attended, including several couples. Not only seniors, but younger people and new members attended as well. Lively conversations could be heard in Japanese and English while enjoying Japanese and Thai food. Committee planner Toshiko Bell received several thank you notes looking forward to more events in the future.
